Here We Go Again

Can we just take a minute to acknowledge how horribly cliché this post title is?

Mmkay.

A lot has happened in the past year. I'm currently in my final year of high school, taking classes at both Salt Lake School for the Performing Arts and Salt Lake Community College. I'm actually in my college history class right now as I'm writing this. Don't tell.

For those of you who don't know, I was planning to study abroad in France my senior year of high school. I've been obsessed with all things French for a good seven years, so I hyperventilated nonstop when I found out I could live in France for a school year. But things happened, time ran out, and I couldn't go. I was really upset for a while, but my wanderlust got the best of me, and I decided to apply for a Gap Year abroad.

Now, because I will be an adult when I go abroad, my country options are highly limited. I can go to either Serbia, Finland, or Dutch-speaking Belgium. I put Belgium has my top choice, as there's a chance I can do some theatre stuff there, but any of those countries would be an amazing experience. I'm 70% done with my application, so we'll see what happens.

Alright, I'm out. My professor is talking about sensationalism and his lectures are so hilarious they make me cry. Too funny.
